Phoenix LaFreniere is an African-American & French-Canadian performer and although she is based in NYC now, she was raised in the Bay Area of California, and is proud of it! She grew up as a dancer and an athlete who loved to sing, so she figured, why not try musical theater? The rest was history.

Phoenix also has a love for film and television. Most recently, she co-wrote, co-directed, and starred in a comedy short film for her honors thesis titled “Can We Go, Please?”, which is linked on the media page.
